About
I am a voiceover artist from London, where I currently live. I studied Music (with voice as my main instrument) and Languages at Bristol University.
I then trained and taught as a yoga teacher. But it was after being asked by a friend to perform in an experimental opera The Swarm, composed by Heloise Tunstall-Behrens of the band Deep Throat Choir back in 2016, that my path to voice work started to take shape.
My voiceover career developed out of many years experience recording and performing as a singer. I took trainings at the Actors’ Centre in London, online workshops with Victoria Atkin in Voiceover for Videogames and Voiceover for Commercials. Until Autumn 2023 I was represented for 4 years by the agency Spoken4 (they have recently closed after going into retirement). I’ve been lucky enough to have voiced a great number of audiobooks and ELT recordings, over which time I’ve built relationships with production teams in range of recording studios (Audio 2020, ID Audio, Carmelite Studios, Rakkit Studios to name to a few).
I currently record and perform as part of the band Deep Throat Choir, and vocal ensemble Howl, and have a wide range of experience recording vocals in recording studios across London. Singing with these groups has given me opportunities to perform at some of London’s best venues (Royal Albert Hall singing for Wild Beasts, The Barbican singing backing for Matthew E White and Bedouine amongst others) as well as performing with Deep Throat Choir at UK festivals Greenman (4 consecutive years) and Glastonbury in 2022. More recently, I sang backing vocals for Mercury Award nominated duo Jessie Buckley and Bernard Butler, on their UK tour, as well as TV performances on Later With Jools Holland… and The Mercury Prize Awards 2022.
I bring focus and energy to any brief. My musical and linguistic ear enable me to move easily between different accents and characters. My love of film, tv and musical theatre provide me with a large range of references for any comedic or character based work.
My love of expressing myself through voice work comes through in every project, and I enjoy the challenge each new collaboration brings.
"Natalie was the standout in every way – both singing and speaking (and singing as a child!).”
